I am consolidating my Media Training business and starting to pitch in earnest for a contract making a video for a new client’s website. It’ll include testimonials and a lot of explaining what they do, as it’s a bit involved. I’ll post a link when it’s finished. I am also looking at BNI, Business Networking International as a way of expanding. And gearing up for some new work with a High Street client, presenting a training video. It’s not finalised yet so I can’t say too much, but you’ll be the first to know…

Off to Banbury this week for a location shoot for The Business Channel  plus exciting new opportunities being developed with a new client as we speak. More details when it’s confirmed. I’ve been recording and watching a primetime terrestrial programme which I hope to be working on soon.  All that and recovering from first-hand experience of the NHS, which all went well, thank you for asking.

New Year and Christmas are quiet times for corporate videos. Who holds a business conference at this time? No one, is the answer.  So I am doing family stuff, cooking turkeys, heating up mince pies, entertaining hoards of friends and visiting other friends who cook for me! So  it all evens out in the end. January is filling up with some shooting days booked in and the possiblilty of a work trip to Norway. I will dig out my thermals and report back.

I am knee deep in food consultancy, advising on new product ranges, marketing ideas and ingredients. It could be any type of food – we find out when we get there. So I’ll be re-reading a few cookery books and food blogs to get up to date on what’s hot and what’s not.

The Business Channel and Zycko TV: I am writing/presenting a documentary on the BRIC countries (Brazil Russia India China) and interviewing the great and the good from the world of IT and technology. Plus I missed out on doing a live TV discussion programme for Bahrain TV, because I was already booked for something else.

This week I am interviewing top names from industry, law and finance, for a series of programmes for The Business Channel on subjects such as Low Carbon Britain, Reviving UK Manufacturing and The Green Agenda etc. We are filming at the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) and the Institute of Directors (IoD) mostly. We are also on location in central London – if you spot me, say hello!

This week I am working for ITN Productions presenting and producing corporate videos for conferences. My latest films have been for the major NHS Alliance conference in Manchester at the end of November.
